Typically an accountant will use the prior year’s numbers to develop estimated taxes to be withheld for the forthcoming year. Not only can this be unrealistic, but should you decide to pay the estimated taxes on a quarterly basis, it could tie up significant cash that can be used elsewhere, invested, etc. With TaxMap our Pro Forma is based on a series of questions we ask on a broad range of issues that allow us to better understand what your year is going to look like.
